XML Examples and CONTENTdm image files
Image records were created on CONTENTdm and exported as xml files. Unfortunately Wix does not support the sharing of XML files. Therefore as a temporary solution some sample files will be made available as text files which can be copied and pasted into an xml editor.
CCO and ContentDM image descriptions
ContentDM is a digital collection management system which can be used to build, preserve and showcase digital collections. It provides advanced search tools and faceted search features. The image records for the Murdoch Munro Collection on ContentDM are specific to describing the digital images and not the work or original item. The elements consist of CCO recommended elements. In addition some local elements are added to enrich the record for the user. This is a basic list of the elements used for the ContentDM and CCO image record descriptions.
