Murdoch Munro Collection Ontology
Description -
This ontology is used to describe information related to the Murdoch Munro Collection (an online collection of letters, postcards, photographs, and objects once owned by Murdoch Munro - 1895-1961). It is not meant as a way to describe the items in the collection in the way the metadata does (title, size, dates, etc). Instead it provides a means to structure, explore, and visualize the main concepts and entities identified in the collection's items, and relationships between them.

The ontology was created using Protege 3.5 ontology editor. Protege is a free, open-source platform to construct domain models and knowledge-based applications with ontologies.
